Since Alisa was a little girl, she's filled pages with words, feeling the need to keep a record of her imagination. She also lost herself in libraries, often savoring the stories of others. Her love of the creative arts led her to pursue a BA in Literature/Writing from Whitworth University (2003) and a Masters in Secondary Education (English) from the University of Phoenix (2007).

In addition to writing, Alisa teaches middle and high school English at a prep school in Bremerton. She enjoys HIIT classes, adapting to life on her small farm, and spending time with her husband Justin and two kids, Trenton and Josie. Her next novel, The Last Culprit will release in spring 2024.
